Let’s get to know the core components of cast steel filters!
Cast steel filter is a pipeline filter device with cast steel material (such as WCB, LCB, etc.) as the main structure. It intercepts solid particles, impurities and other pollutants in the fluid through the built-in filter (10-200 mesh/cm²) to protect the safe operation of downstream equipment such as valves and pumps.
What are the core components of the structure of cast steel filter?
1. Y-type shell
Adopts integrated casting to effectively reduce weld leakage. The flow area is increased by 30% compared with the traditional T-type structure.
2. Removable filter cartridge
Built-in stainless steel wire mesh, can be quickly disassembled and washed, and maintenance downtime is short.
3. Flange/threaded interface
Adapt to DN15-DN500 pipeline system, the sealing surface hardness is above HRC45, to ensure the stability of high-pressure working conditions.
