Daily maintenance of power station valves includes regular appearance cleaning, sealing inspection, etc. Molybdenum disulfide or graphite-based lubricants should be applied to key parts (stem threads, shafts), and anti-corrosion treatment should be done.
In addition to these daily and regular maintenance, there are two in-depth maintenance items:[Annual disassembly and inspection] 1. It is necessary to comprehensively check the wear of the valve core and valve seat of the power station valve, polish minor scratches, and replace them if there is serious deformation.
2. Use an endoscope to detect 0.1mm internal corrosion, with an accuracy similar to that of a medical gastroscope.[Pressure test] A 1.5 times working pressure test is required, and the pressure holding time is ≥30 minutes‌.
These systematic maintenance can extend the service life of power station valves from ten years to thirty years.
